Staffing Coordinator

Responsibilities:

The
Staffing Coordinator
will be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department.

2. Responsible for maintaining accurate nursing department time records.

3. Gather information concerning employee issues, usage, retention and termination.

4. Print out and update daily staffing schedule.

5. Answer multi phone line system.

6. Over-sight with on-call staffing, as requested.

7. Make assessments and decisions on prioritizing staff. .

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 year of staffing experience
  • Prior healthcare or hospital staffing experience, or significant customer service experience.
  • Excellent Communication skills are a must.
  • Proficient at data entry.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
